Mimaki TxF - DTF Without Compromise
The Mimaki TXF™ series is designed for professionals who expect more than just a low entry price. While many Chinese DTF machines focus on fast market availability, Mimaki focuses on reliability, consistency, and long-term production quality.
Why Mimaki TXF Outperforms Standard Chinese DTF Machines:
Industrial-grade reliability
The Mimaki TXF is built on decades of inkjet expertise. This is not experimental assembly, but a stable platform engineered for daily, commercial production.
Genuine Mimaki inks & consistent colour output
Specially developed Mimaki pigment inks deliver:
- Stable, repeatable colours
- Strong and uniform white coverage
- Excellent wash and stretch resistance without inconsistencies
Advanced white-ink management
White ink is the biggest challenge in DTF printing. Mimaki’s advanced circulation and monitoring technologies reduce clogging, sedimentation and maintenance. Essential for uninterrupted production.
Professional workflow with Mimaki software solutions
Full integration with Mimaki’s software solutions ensures:
- Predictable output
- Fewer manual adjustments
- Better control over repeat jobs and production efficiency

No unknown origins or long waiting times:
- Established EMEA-wide service network by local dealers
- Guaranteed spare parts availability
- Professional training and documentation
Lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
The Mimaki TXF may not be the cheapest machine at purchase, but it is the smartest investment:
- Less downtime
- Less waste
- Less frustration
- Greater production security
Conclusion
While many Chinese DTF machines may look attractive on paper, the Mimaki TXF proves its value in real-world production. For businesses that demand reliability, consistency, and professional growth, there is only one logical choice: Mimaki TXF.
Print different. Print with confidence.
DTF versus DTG
DTF (Direct-to-Film) and DTG (Direct-to-Garment) are both modern digital printing methods for custom apparel, but they differ significantly in their application process, feel, and versatility.
Key Differences
Process Efficiency - DTG is typically faster for single, one-off custom orders because it skips the film-transfer step. Conversely, DTF is more efficient for bulk orders because designs can be pre-printed on film sheets ("gang sheets") and applied quickly in batches.
Print Placement - DTF offers superior flexibility for "awkward" placements. Because you are pressing a small film, you can easily apply designs to sleeves, collars, caps, and bags that might not fit on a standard DTG platen.
Design Complexity - DTG excels at fine details, subtle gradients, and photographic quality because the ink is jetted directly into the fibers. While DTF handles detail well, very fine lines or "floating" elements may occasionally struggle with adhesion.
Setup Costs - Entering the market is generally cheaper with DTF.
